- I'd question him about the Practical Peripherals modem. I have one and it
- doesn't have a large enough buffer for geoFax. In fact, it reports an error
- when I try to check the buffer size with an AT command. Also, the SwiftLink
- manual says that a certain Practical Peripherals is built wrong or different
- or something, and that you need to open up the SwiftLink and change something.
- I don't know the model for that one, but mine (with the small buffer) is
- model PM144MT II.
- The modem works fine with ACETerm, Desterm, and the WAVE, but WILL NOT work
- with geoFAX (according to Maurice).
